Our team is
limited to 50 runners – no additional spots will become
available.

The 2011
fundraising commitment to join Team Hearts and Smiles is $300.

Runners can
participate in the 8K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon. See the
Philadelphia Marathon website (www.philadelphiamarathon.com)
for full race details.

Online
fundraising support is available. Create your own fundraising
page to send emails to all your friends and family to ask for
their support.

Register
online at our Team Page to hold your spot on our team.

Team
registration requires a donation of at least $5. NOTE: The
credit card used for Team Hearts and Smiles registration will be
charged an additional amount if the fundraising requirement is
not met by the fundraising deadline (see next point).

Any runner who
has not met the fundraising requirement by the deadline will be
charged an additional personal donation for the difference
between the amount raised and the $300 commitment. For
example, if Runner A raises $235 online, his credit card will be
charged $65 on the fundraising deadline ($300 commitment -
$235 raised = $65 additional personal donation).

Currently, the
fundraising deadline is November 1, 2011. This is subject to
change with notice based on Philadelphia Marathon registration
closure.

Once the
fundraising requirement has been met, each runner will receive
an email with instructions and an individual registration code,
which is used to register the runner on the Philadelphia
Marathon official website. This special code will work even when
official registration has been closed to the public.
